Description
This Bach Vade Mecum is a collection of pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach arranged for viola and cello. The selection includes arias, chorales and instrumental works that are suitable for this duo formation. They are always reproduced in their entirety and, with one exception, in the original key. The text of the arias is included in the score, but only the first time it occurs. In his introduction, the editor Christoph Habicht emphasizes that this is a very personal selection and arrangement. However, we assume that playing these unique and mostly well-known melodies by Bach will also find many other enthusiasts.
